I like your definition of ‘marketism’, and I actually would say I agree with the difference between that and what most people would consider capitalism. Perhaps it’s just the connotation, but I tend to dislike the term ‘capitalist’ when used by libertarians who don’t actually seem to mean it that way (it seems as if they mean it in the sense that you do- sans private ownership). I don’t think I’m actually adding anything of value here, I just thought your ideas/questions were pretty interesting.
ah, conversations concerning the difference between capitalism and free markets. this kind of thing (economic and/or political conversations) is to me what many of you consider eating a triple fudge cake with whip cream.
